We are based in Indianapolis, but we welcome great men from Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. We are a member of the Affiliated Big men’s Clubs, an international network of clubs for big men and their admirers. The club offers opportunities for these men to meet in a non-judgmental setting. We are a non-profit social club addressing the needs of the heavyset man and their male admirers. Girth & Mirth Long Beach (now Girth & Mirth Southern California) was formed in May 1996 and is growing fast. GMSC will be planning beach parties, brunches, dinner parties, overnight trips, campouts, day trips, and theme parties. We simply are striving to be the best group around. We want and need your support. If you have any suggestions or want to join the club please do! Membership pricing is $15.00 per year for singles and $20.00 per year for couples. Your membership entitles you to an I.D card and discounts to designated GMSC social events and other fun and interesting things to participate in around the Long Beach and Southern California area.

Girth and Mirth - Washington D.C.

G&M of Washington, DC is a club for chubs and chasers/admirers in the metropolitan Washington, DC area which includes Virginia and Maryland. We have been in operation since April 1983 and hold socials every other month on the third Saturday of the month usually at a members home in the metro DC area. We host theme socials to celebrate the seasons where we provide beverages and snacks and sometimes have full dinners. The most important thing we provide at the socials is a safe place where people can feel free to enjoy the company of chubs and chasers/admirers without fear of ridicule. We also host an outing to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware every year where we enjoy a weekend of fun and relaxation at a gay-owned bed and breakfast close to the beach.
